There aren't many countries with so much water and wind, or so many boats, sails, bikes, birds, polders, windmills, flowers, fish, bridges, cafés, cheese - and tall people. There certainly aren't many countries who can claim such a vibrant color (vivid orange in this case) as their own. Simply put, there is no place like the Netherlands. However, continuing on tour without staying a while is a big mistake. The small, friendly country of Holland is known for its tulips, windmills and great painters such as Rembrandt and van Gogh. Insiders know, however, that in any Dutch city, town or village you will find the finest soccer facilities in Europe: fully-equipped clubhouses, surrounded by perfect grass fields. NETHFLAG

Although the Dutch are not known for their rugby, they are known for being sport enthusiasts and they have several 7's tournaments around the country that attract teams from all over the world, making the Netherlands a rugby destination.

Amsterdam has something for everyone: Van Gogh and Rembrandt museums, unique merchant-house architecture, the Anne Frank House, historic canals crossed by 1,000 bridges, and flowers and diamonds. You can walk everywhere with ease, and nowhere in the world will you find friendlier or prouder people. Volendam and Zaanse Schans, north of Amsterdam, provide a look at the Holland of a few centuries ago, including (of course!) windmills and traditional wooden shoes. South of Amsterdam lays Leiden, dating from Roman times, and Delft, where 300 artists paint porcelain the traditional way.

The Netherlands program highlights and sights:
  • Play games vs. local Dutch teams at at international tournaments
  • Sightseeing in Amsterdam including the Anne Frank House, van Gogh museum and Amsterdam canals
  • Visit other major Dutch cities like Eindhoven and The Hague
