Each year many players from your club or team spend time and money to travel to exclusive soccer camps around the U.S. Imagine what it would be like when both coaching education and a premier soccer camp would come ‘exclusively’ to your club or team. Premier International Tours has now made this possible: we are proud to offer your club, team or school a unique KNVB (Dutch Soccer Association) Team Soccer Camp. This event – exclusively for your club, team or school - will be staffed by some of the top youth coaches in the world. All are members of the legendary KNVB Academy, and all speak two languages perfectly: English and soccer.
By providing a superior experience at your own fields and facilities our KNVB camp eliminates high travel and housing costs. It also allows school or club coaches more flexibility to evaluate players because you don’t have to focus all your time on coaching the team directly. And your club or teams can even add a commission to our costs, turning the camp into an exciting fundraiser.
The KNVB staff is available any time throughout the year: spring break, summer vacation, fall or winter. You can arrange this camp just for your team or club.

Introduction
Soccer fans around the world admire the Dutch style of play. Players like Johan Cruyff, Ruud Gullit, Marco van Basten and Dennis Bergkamp, and more recently Ruud van Nistelrooy, Arjen Robben, Wesley Sneijder and Robin van Persie, have long set a standard for exciting, creative play. In the 1980's and '90's The Netherlands provided the soccer world with entertaining teams and players. Recent Dutch soccer success includes semifinal appearances at the 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000 and 2004, a quarter final appearance in the 2008 European Championships, reaching the Round of 16 at the 2006 World Cup, most recently finishing 2nd place in the 2010 World Cup! The Dutch national team is usually always in the top 5 in the FIFA World Rankings.
The on-field success of Dutch soccer is mirrored by the world-renowned KNVB coaching Academy. At its foundation stands Rinus Michels, the man who "invented" Total Soccer in the '70s. His ideas are the basis of this camp.
Small Nation, Great soccer vision
The Netherlands is small in size, but Dutch soccer is famous around the world. For the past 40 years the Dutch have played a vital role in international soccer. The national team has recorded astonishing successes in the European Championship and World Cups. The top Dutch soccer clubs have shown well in every major European Cup competition, while Dutch players have long filled the rosters of the most popular European clubs.

High level educators - learn from the best
How can a tiny country like Holland become a world soccer leader? One major reason is that coaches in the Netherlands are high-level educators, who truly teach the game. In addition, the KNVB is a global leader in creating development programs for young players. Your coaches can now learn from their methods.
The coaches in our ‘Team Soccer Camp’ are coaches working full-time or part-time in the 6 KNVB-Districts in the Netherlands, where they teach coaches and coach the best players, boys and girls ages 10-18. Examples of these players are: Ruud van Nistelrooij, Clarence Seedorf, Arjen Robben, Robin van Persie, Rafael van de Vaart and Wesley Sneijder. They follow in the footsteps of the greatest stars from the legendary Euro '88-winning team: Marco van Basten, Ruud Gullit, Frank Rijkaard and Ronald Koeman.
The Dutch vision - small sided games, many touches on the ball
The Dutch vision begins with games of 4-v-4, in an amazing number of variations. These games provide the foundation for playing attractive soccer. Each player enjoys many touches on the ball, while learning to solve a variety of soccer problems. 4-v-4 always provides lots of goals and excitement.
Some examples:
- The passing game
- The shooting game
- The dribbling game
- The counter game
- The heading and crossing game
These games, and many others like them, incorporate every key element of soccer. Training activities are always geared to the age, skills and experience of the group. Each phase in the learning process has special objectives. Children learn best by participating in real soccer situations, and accepting the consequences of the decisions they make. Objectives are always clearly explained. The Dutch coaches eagerly give instructions, ask questions, encourage players to make their own suggestions, provide examples of good and poor decisions, get players to show what they want to do, and demonstrate winning concepts themselves. The focus is always on the qualities that ensure fun and successful soccer.
