Capital Soccer Club has returned home from their 2016 tour to Barcelona. During their time in Barcelona they played soccer against 4 top soccer teams including CF Parets, Celta De Vigo FC, CF Sant Fost, and CF Ripollent; each game ending in a very close score. During their time off the field they also enjoyed many excursions including, the sacred mountain and monastery of Montserrat and one of Barcelona’s greatest sights, the Sagrada Familia. Capital SC also spent some time on Las Ramblas, Barcelona’s most famous street with shops and restaurants all influenced by Spanish culture.
One of the tours highlights was the pro game that the group got to attend upon their arrival on Sunday April 17th in Barcelona. They made their way to Camp Nou Stadium to watch FC Barcelona face off against Valencia FC. Valencia FC came away victorious with a 2 – 1 win.
Eric Bagley and the rest of the team returned home with all smiles and the plans for their next trip. “We would like to thank Premier International Tours for another great trip to Barcelona. The PIT staff, both in the US and in Barcelona, is first class and the planning of the trip was smooth as ever. This truly was a trip of a lifetime for our players and we are already looking forward to next year’s trip."
