Darlington School Soccer Academy playing soccer in Barcelona

Darlington School Soccer Academy, one of Premier International Tours most loyal customers, traveled earlier this month to Barcelona and Montpellier with their boy’s soccer team. The #1 reason for their tour was of course playing some good local teams. In Spain they played Athletico Valles and CF Parets and in France Entente St. Clement Montferrier and Atlas Pallade Montpellier. The boys did very well and end with 2 wins and 2 close losses. Next to the 4 games Premier International Tours and their guide Clive Callahan arranged a great sight-seeing program including a trip to Montserrat and its mountain-top monastery, a guided tour of the Nou Camp Stadium & Museum Tour, home of F.C. Barcelona as well as sightseeing in Barcelona. In France the group visited Montpelier and Nimes.

The tour highlight was visiting one of the most heroic CL games ever; FCB vs. Paris St. Germain. FC Barcelona was able to comeback from a 4-0 deficit. Chad Liddle mentioned at the end of the tour “I have entrusted Premier International Tours to organize six trips to Europe with various teams over the years. Each and every trip has been professional, organized, and through Premier International Tours I have given my current and former players memories for a lifetime. Some of these memories included getting 55 tickets to a 2006 World Cup game in Germany and this past trip taking my teams to witness history in the making…live with FC Barcelona’s historic Champions League 6-1 comeback over PSG! To be able to get one ticket let alone 28 tickets to one of the biggest moments in history of the best club in the world… Premier Tours International came through! Thank you Michael J Stebbins and Loek van Zijl for making lifetime memories for my players!”
