The Dana Cup takes place from July 20-25, 2026. The tournament typically takes place during the end of July every year, perfect for American teams to attend during their summer school breaks.

4. What is the cost to attend the Dana Cup?

 

To go to the Dana Cup, the price per person package starts at $2,000.00. This package includes round-trip airfare, accommodation in a school classroom, tournament registration, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, airport transfers, and tournament shuttle to/from the fields and accommodation. Teams and families can upgrade to a 3 or 4-star hotel.

The Dana Cup features 1,100 teams from around 45 to 50 countries annually, making it Denmark’s largest sporting event and one of the world’s most international youth soccer tournaments.

Teams participating in the Dana Cup stay in Hjørring, which is in the center of Denmark’s western peninsula, a convenient and beautiful location. Some of the hotels are also located in Frederikshavn, which is near the eastern coast on Denmark and is only 30 minutes away from Hjørring.
