The Challenge Cup invites you to take on teams from all over the world in one of Europe’s most stunning destinations. Set to be the largest multisport tournament in Portugal in 2025, the Challenge Cup takes place in the Algarve.
The Algarve, Portugal’s southernmost region, is famous for its Atlantic beaches and resorts. Its fishing villages were transformed in the 1960s, and now the coast between Lagos and Faro is lined with villas, hotels, and restaurants. The Challenge Cup is the perfect tournament to experience international soccer while visiting some of the most unique locations Europe has to offer.




Age categories:
Boys 11v11 - born after January 1, 2009-2013
Boys 7v7 - born after January 1, 2014-2017
Boys 5v5 - born after January 1, 2018-2019
Girls 11v11 - born after January 1, 2008-2012
IMPORTANT AGE CATEGORY DISPENSATION INFORMATION:
Due to different age category cut-off dates, automatic dispensation will be granted to players on U.S. teams born on or after September 1 of the previous age category year. For example, if the tournament age category is players born on/after January 1, 2010, automatic dispensation will be given to players born between September 1 and December 31 of 2009.

The tournament will take place on 10 fields near the southern coast of Portugal. Each field offers stunning sights and a unique tournament atmosphere for players and spectators alike.
