Match Fit Academy has returned from their International Tour to Gothenburg, Sweden where the competed at the 2016 Gothia Cup! Match Fit travelled to Sweden with 2 U16 Boys teams. One team advanced to the Playoff A stage while the other advanced to the Playoff B stage, and both teams played a great match but unfortunately didn’t come away victorious. There were almost 200 teams in their age category alone and they played teams from Sweden, Thailand, England, Denmark and Lebanon, so it was truly an international mix. Off the field the teams did some sightseeing in Downtown Gothenburg, explored the city and history by boat, and went for a swim in the North Sea.

Chris Leahey, the Executive Director of Match Fit Academy said; “The Gothia Cup was our first trip with Premier International Tours and it certainly was a memorable one for all involved. Players, Coaches & traveling parents experiences were well above expectations. The organization & accommodations provided by Loek, Mike & the PIT staff were excellent. The tournament itself was second to none. We thank all involved in coordinating our trip and highly recommend it to other clubs”
