InterSocal participated at the first ever IberCup Brazil

Last month InterSocal participated at the first ever IberCup Brazil which took place from January 15-20, 2019 in Porto Alegre, Brazil. The tournament host of the IberCup Brazil is Grêmio FBPA one of the best clubs in South America and winner of the 2017 Grêmio FBPA (the South American Champions League).  The tournament took place on the official fields of Grêmio FBPA. 220 teams from 18 nationalities played in this prestigious event. Some names of the top teams participating were Grêmio FBPA from Brazil, MX Chivas Guadalajara from Mexico, Inter Milan from Italy, Manchester City from England, Paris Saint-Germain from France, Independiente from Argentina and many more. 


The tournament kicked off with an impressive opening ceremony at the Grêmio Academy Stadium, where all teams were treated to an international show. The team from InterSocal did very well at the IberCup – they were able to win some of their games against an impressive field of participants. The IberCup did more than just organize a top tournament; they even built a waterpark at the soccer complex with slides, water soccer and all types of other water entertainment.  


After the tournament Coach Alejandro and Manager Tina mentioned “The IberCup Brazil 2019 has come to an end. We had an amazing time in Brazil. Our boys had the time of their lives and cannot wait to go back! Thank you everyone back home who showed so much support. Thank you IberCup and Premier International Tours for arranging this lifetime experience”.
