Mutiny FC returned home after spending 3 weeks in Europe!

Mutiny FC has returned home after spending 3 weeks in Europe! They traveled with two girls teams and participated in the Gothia Cup in Sweden and the Dana Cup in Denmark. At the Gothia Cup Gothia the U16G team advanced into the Playoff B bracket with their run ending in the quarterfinals. Their U15G team advanced into Playoff A bracket but lost in the quarterfinals to the team that ended up winning the championship. At the Dana Cup both teams advanced out of Group Play to the Playoff A bracket, the U16G team lost to the eventual U16G runner-up. The U15G team won the age category leaving Europe as Dana Cup champions!

Our relationship with Mutiny FC began two years ago when they were participants at the Dallas International Girls Cup. Mutiny FC were local hosts to AIK Stockholm from Sweden for the tournament (2 years in a row!). Before they began their participation in the Gothia Cup they traveled to Sweden a week early and were hosted by AIK families in Stockholm and had some time to train, get acclimated to the environment, and hang out with old friends.

The relationship Mutiny FC has with Premier actually began two years earlier when we began to host teams during Dallas International Girls Cup - this experience afforded by Premier began a relationship with AIK from Stockholm Sweden and the second year also with IF Lyseng from Højbjerg Denmark.

Those relationships that Premier supported initially in the US carried forward to our Sweden/Denmark experiences. This cultural experience was tremendous and those memories off the field will last a lifelong. We highly recommend any club / team take advantage of hosting international teams in the US as well as experiencing international travel / play by going outside of the US.
