The Park Slope United Soccer Club traveled with their U10 Boys team, and families from Brooklyn, New York to Spain with Premier International Tours to enjoy a 7-day tour of Barcelona while competing in the IberCup Barcelona. The club had an excellent showing in group play with two (2) wins and one (1) draw against teams from Portugal and Morocco which advanced them to the playoffs. In the playoffs, the club made it to the Semi-Finals after beating a team from Haiti, but ultimately losing to a tough team from France.

While in Barcelona, the club was able to do some sightseeing as well. The first excursion was taking a boat trip to Tossa de Mar. While there, they enjoyed some great food and explored the seaside village. Later on in the week, the club took a day trip into the city of Barcelona. While in Barcelona, they visited Plaça Catalunya, Sagrada Familia, and toured FC Barcelona Stadium.

Executive Director, Nate Bell, had the following to say about their tour to Barcelona: "Loek and his team went above and beyond both in the planning of the trip and once we got on the ground. Our kids and families had an experience they'll remember for the rest of their lives. Hoping to take many more teams to Europe with Premier International in the years to come!"
