Oak Cliff Divas trip to France and Spain

The Oak Cliff Divas traveled from Texas to Europe to embark on a tour of France and Spain. The team started the trip off with a once in a life time experience watching a Women’s World Cup game of Italy vs. China. Italy topped China in first ever knockout round victory, 2-0. Before heading to Barcelona, the team was able to do some sightseeing in Montpelier.

After leaving France, the girls began their Spanish sightseeing at famous monastery Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey, followed by a bus tour of Barcelona. This tour covered: the bullring, the Gaudi buildings Casa Battlo and the Pedrera, the Camp Nou (home of FC Barcelona), Plaza Francesc Masia, the Sagrada Familia -Gaudi’s unfinished Cathedral, Parque Guell, and lastly the beautiful old fishing town, Tossa de Mar.

While abroad, Premier International Tours arranged for the team have a training session with professional coach of RCD Espanyol in addition to compete in three (3) friendlies against CF Fontsanta Fatjo, Barcelona Women’s Soccer School and CF Montornes.
